We live in Città di Castello, in the green heart of Umbria, and since 2017 we have been breeding Lagotti with dedication and responsibility, always following regulations and best practices.

The Lagotto Romagnolo is an ancient Italian dog breed, originally known as a truffle hunter, but today loved all over the world as a loyal and affectionate companion.
Its name comes from its homeland, Romagna, where it was once used in the Comacchio marshlands as a water retriever. Over time, its remarkable sense of smell led to its fame as a truffle dog.

It’s a medium-small sized dog, compact and sturdy. Its distinctive feature is its curly, woolly coat, which makes it instantly recognizable and hypoallergenic — ideal even for people with allergies. Regular grooming is necessary to keep the coat tidy, but it doesn’t shed.
